Events:Flyers : Stick Auction

Thank you to everyone for making the 15th Annual Flyers stick auction another success! We featured autographed game-used sticks from the entire Flyers roster and various sticks from other NHL stars.

The top selling Flyers sticks included Danny Briere ($3,000), Mike Richards ($2,000), and Claude Giroux ($1,250). The auction also featured some rare items such as a set of Brian Boucher game-used autographed goalie pads ($5,000), Bernie Parent autographed vintage jersey ($3,500), and a set of Chris Pronger game-used autographed skates ($700).

The top selling items donated from other teams included a Wayne Gretzky autographed puck ($725), a Martin Brodeur autographed game-used stick ($700), and a Patrick Kane autographed game-used stick ($450).

All proceeds from the auction go directly back into the Philadelphia community through many initiatives involving such great groups as the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Living Beyond Breast Cancer and March of Dimes.

The 15th Annual Flyers Charities Stick Auction will be held Thursday, March 24, 2011 during the Flyers-Penguins game at the Wells Fargo Center. Various memorabilia from sticks, to jerseys, to equipment from many of the top players in the league will be on display and auctioned for charity.
Flyers Charities have collected the popular game-used sticks from the Philadelphia Flyers and some of the premier players around the NHL. Proceeds from the Stick Auction will benefit the Comcast-Spectacor Foundation to support local youth organizations and various healthcare initiatives.

The stick auction will end at the start of the 3rd period on March 24, 2011, at which point the winning bidders can pay and take their item(s) with them that night. We accept both cash and credit if you are the winning bidder. If you choose to pay with a check you must wait until it clears to receive your item(s). These sticks will be on auction the night of the game only. We will have a few different sticks that will be up for auction online separately.
